Our Statement of Faith

For God so loved the world in this way; He gave his one only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” (John 3:16-17)

We Believe

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and evidence of things not seen.”(Hebrews 11:1) Faith is trust and confidence in God. “A person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ.”(Galatians 2:16) In the Old Testament they were led by the law which was given by God. “The law, then, was our guardian until Christ, so that we could be justified by faith.”(Galatians 3:24) We are made righteous because of our faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the Cross. “Since that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, for through faith you are all sons and daughters of God in Christ Jesus.”(Galatians 3:26) Because of Jesus we live by faith. Which means we live by love. Through faith, we are established in God’s Kingdom. We believe so we can receive.

God

God is the supreme being, creator, and sustainer of the universe. He is infinite in wisdom, power, and love, and He reveals Himself to humanity through His creation, His Word, and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity. He became incarnate, fully God and fully man, to redeem humanity from sin and reconcile us to God. Through His sacrificial death and resurrection, He offers salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He indwells believers, empowering them for spiritual growth, guiding them in truth, and convicting them of sin. He comforts, teaches, and equips the Church for service and mission.

Scripture

Scripture, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is without error in its original manuscripts and is the final authority for faith and practice. It reveals God’s character, His redemptive plan for humanity, and His will for our lives.

The Resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is the central event of the Christian faith. It confirms His deity, validates His atoning sacrifice, and assures believers of their own resurrection to eternal life. Through His victory over death, Christ conquered sin and offers hope to all who trust in Him.

Salvation

Salvation is the free gift of God, offered to humanity through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by grace alone, apart from works, that we are justified before God and forgiven of our sins. Salvation brings reconciliation with God, adoption into His family, and the promise of eternal life in His presence.

Humanity

Humanity is created in the image of God, possessing inherent dignity, value, and moral responsibility. Though marred by sin, we are loved by God and invited into relationship with Him through Christ. Through redemption, we are called to love and serve others, reflecting God’s image in the world.

The Church of Jesus Christ

The Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all believers, united by faith in Him. It is called to worship God, proclaim the gospel, and make disciples of all nations. As the bride of Christ, the Church is empowered by the Holy Spirit to demonstrate God’s love and advance His kingdom on earth.
