At Renewed Spirit Kiki Aereal Ministries, we believe in the power of faith to transform the lives of individuals and communities. Through our outreach efforts, counseling services, and community programs, we seek to enlarge the Kingdom of God by spreading His love and compassion to all.

I am Akili Sebhat, affectionately known as Kiki, and I have a remarkable story of faith and perseverance. Born in Ethiopia, I am a former refugee and a single mother to my precious son, Aereal. I came to the US in 1990; in 2005, I received CHRIST JESUS as my Savior. My conversion led to a revival in my hometown of Tigray, Ethiopia. My first mission trip was in 2006, shortly after a tragic event in my life, where my baby sister was killed by her husband, who was sentenced to death. Despite the pain and loss, God sent me to forgive him, and I did. This forgiveness produced faith. Since then, I have been a missionary for the past 18 years, sharing the transformative power of God’s love and forgiveness with others. God has transformed my life, and I want to share His good news with the nations. “The light of the eyes rejoices the heart, and good news refreshes the bones.” (Proverbs 15:30) As a single mom, my first mission is to uplift and mentor single mothers and their children around the world through Renewed Spirit Kiki Aereal Ministries.

I am Aereal Tsegai, son of Akili Sebhat, and my upbringing was a testament to my mother’s unwavering devotion to serving the Lord and others. Growing up under her wing, I witnessed firsthand her resilience and commitment, which ignited within me a deep-seated passion for aiding those in need. From a tender age, I stood alongside my mother, eager to lend a helping hand.

Even as a child, I understood the importance of sacrifice. I willingly surrendered my bedroom whenever my mom and her team opened our doors to those seeking solace and prayer, content to sleep on the sofa during those times. Whenever financial hurdles threatened to impede my mom’s mission trips, her steadfast resolve never wavered. Her unwavering faith in God’s calling spurred me to action—I’d pick up extra hours to send her whatever support I could muster. Despite the constraints, I stood beside her, a pillar of encouragement and assistance.

Now, as I tread my path, I find fulfillment in teaching children in Sunday school and pursuing my education at Northwest University Christian School, focusing on childhood development. Side by side with my mother, I am dedicated to effecting change in the lives of single mothers and children, while sharing the transformative power of the gospel. Together, through Renewed Spirit Kiki Aereal Ministries, our mission remains steadfast: guiding individuals toward a renewed sense of purpose and a deepened faith in Christ.
